Meet an Author Night
Local Author Night continues December 13th at 6pm!

December 13th
Robert McGough:
Robert 'Bob' McGough has been writing as long as he can remember. It wasn't until completing his first NaNoWriMo though that gave him the impetus to pursue a career as a writer. Since then he has had a number of his short fictions published. He is currently shopping around his first horror novel to agents, while finishing the second book in his fantasy trilogy. His website is talesbybob.com

Cindy Ducker: Cindy Criswell Ducker is the author of two children's Smiling Faces of Sadie Lane and Meet Toby!  She has lived with rheumatoid arthritis since the age of eight.  She does not, however, let her world of pain, surgeries, medical appointments, and wheelchair use stop her from living her life to the fullest.  She chooses to focus on what she can do and God's plan for her.  Her passions include reading, writing, rescuing animals, nursing home ministry, and advocating for those who live with arthritis.  In 2007, she was the recipient of the first Arthritis Foundation Heart of Mission Award.  Living with a disability and her love of the written word led her to share her stories where the characters come alive in your mind and in your heart.  She loves to share her story, inspiring people of all ages to live their dreams, to be strong and to not let anyone tell them that they cannot achieve their goals.  Cindy and her husband, Andy, reside in Prattville with their canine kids, Sammy and Sally.

Betty McCurtry: Betty Cotton McMurtry grew up in rural Geneva County, Alabama. After attending college at Auburn University, she set out on a life of a civil servant, management consultant and NFL player agent. Betty resides in Auburn, Alabama where she enjoys her two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Ford McMurtry was born in Columbus, Georgia. After high school, he attended Auburn University where he was a walk-on member of the football team. In addition to becoming a successful coach at the high school, college, and professional levels, Ford’s career included stints as an NFL agent, sports journalist, business owner, and auto insurance claims director. He resides in Auburn, Alabama where he enjoys AU sports and spending time with the family and dog, Missy.
