Scenes of True Grit- Art Show

This exhibition, inspired by Charles Portis’s novel True Grit, examines themes of courage, determination, justice, and resilience through visual art. Artists are encouraged to reflect on perseverance amid challenges and the ongoing inspiration from stories of strength.
This event is for adult patrons ages 18+
Important Dates:
September 1-11 – Artist may pickup guidelines/contract at the circulation desk
September 11– All art submissions and contracts must be returned to the library by 4:30pm on this date
September 14 – September 26 – Art pieces will be displayed at the library for patrons to enjoy
September 26 – We will have a closing reception for the art show
